DETECTIVES have arrested two men in connection with a vicious stabbing in west Belfast.

Police said the men – aged 26 and 27 – were being questioned on suspicion of attempted murder.

They are currently in custody at the PACE suite in Musgrave Police station

An 18-year-old man was taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital after he was wounded at Cullingtree Road around 6 am on Sunday, November 1.

He underwent surgery for his injuries at the emergency department in the Royal Victoria Hospital.
