POLICE say a man in his 30s has died after he was struck by a car in south Belfast last night.

The smash happened just before 11.20 pm at the junction of the Lisburn Road and Marlborough Park.

A 34-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of a number of motoring offences.

She was taken to Musgrave PSNI station for questioning.
