POLICE in Omagh are asking members of the public in the vicinity of O’Kane Park to be vigilant and report any suspicious objects to police.

This follows a warning that an object may have been left in the area.

Police enquiries into the matter are currently ongoing.

Inspector John McKenna is urging members of the public not to touch or move any object which seems out of place, but to contact police in Omagh immediately on 999.
