DETECTIVES from the PSNI’s Major Investigation Team probing the murder of Kevin McGuigan have made a fresh arrest.
A 47 year old man was detained in west Belfast this evening.
The man has been taken to the serious crime suite at Musgrave PSNI station for questioning.
Father of nine Kevin McGuigan was blasted to death outside his Comber Court house in the Short Strand district of east Belfast on August after arriving home with his wife.
The Provisional IRA shot him dead in revenge for the murder of former Belfast Provo OC Gerard ‘Jock’ Davison in the Markets district.
