ONE person has died in a two vehicle collision in Co Down today.

The “serious two vehicle road traffic collision” happened outside the village of Saintfield.

As a result, the Killyleagh Road has been closed at its junction with the Darragh Road near Saintfield in both directions.

Diversions are in place.

The PSNI’s Collision Investigation Unit is currently examining the scene.
