MAN TO FACE COURT OVER JEWELLERY BOX THEFT

Laganside Court houseDETECTIVES from the PSNI’s Reactive and Organised Crime Branch at Musgrave station have charged a 24 year old man with theft.

He is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates’ Court this morning, Thursday, October 1.

As is normal procedure the charge will be reviewed by the PPS.

It is understood the charge is in relation to an incident at St Luke’s Walk in Belfast on Tuesday, June 2.

Police received a report of a man calling to the house of a 69 year old woman to collect clothing.

After the man left a jewellery box and its contents were reported missing.
