TWO MEN INJURED, ONE CRITICAL, IN CAR SMASH

policeroadclosedPOLICE are investigating after a man was left in a critical condition in hospital following an early morning car crash.

The one-vehicle crash happened on the Kilraughts Road in Ballymoney around 12.20 am this morning, Sunday, August 30.

Two men, who are in their 20s, were taken to Causeway Hospital in Coleraine.

One man is said to be in a critical condition. The other injured man is stable.

As yet, police do not know if there were any other people in the car at the time of the crash.

The road was closed for a period for investigation but has since re-opened.

PSNI Inspector Jonathan Brown is appealing for anyone who was travelling on the Kilraughts Road and who witnessed the collision to contact police on 101 non-emergency number.
