DETECTIVES have charged a man over he human trafficking of 16 people.

The 33-year-old is accused of entering into an arrangement with a gangmaster.

The offences are alleged to have taken place in Co Armagh.

He is due to appear at Banbridge Magistrates’ Court sitting in Newry on Thursday.

The charge relates to the alleged trafficking of 16 people working in the agricultural sector in south Armagh, who were found by police on July 17.
