BICYCLE ARSONIST HUNTED OVER SOUTH BELFAST HOUSE ATTACK

Police scene armed copPOLICE are investigating a petrol bomb attack on a home in south Belfast in the early hours of this morning.

The device was thrown at a window of the Fortuna Street property at around 12.30 am on Wednesday, August 26.

No one was injured during the cowardly attack although and police said they believed the attacker may have fled the scene on a bicycle.

Police are working to establish a motive.

Detective Sergeant Keith Wilson said: “Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to contact Detectives at Musgrave Police Station on the non emergency number 101.

“Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
