DETECTIVES have seized heroin with a street value of £14,000.
The stash of Class A drugs was seized on Tuesday night at a house in Strangford, Co Down under the 1971 Misuse of Drugs Act.
The PSNI say detectives from the Organised Crime Branch carried out a proactive search with colleagues from the National Crime Agency as part of an operation against heroin importation into Northern Ireland
At this stage, no arrests were made and police are conducting follow up inquiries.
