Traffic lights set on fire during rioting in north Belfast last month

POLICE have charged two men over violence in north Belfast last month.

The men – aged aged 24 and 20 – were arrested on the Monday, August 17, as part of an ongoing investigation into public disorder in North Belfast on 13th July 2015.

The arrests followed searches in the greater Belfast area.

Both men have been charged with rioting and to appear at Belfast Magistrates’ Court.
