POLICE say a 21-year-old man has been killed in a two vehicle crash.

The accident happened on the outskirts of Ballymena, County Antrim.

The crash, involving a car and a coach, happened on the Moorfields Road around 1 pm today, Sunday, August 16.

The road remains closed while a police investigation continues.

The name of the man who died has not yet been released by the PSNI.

Police have appealed for anyone who witnessed the crash to contact its Collision Investigation Unit on the 101 non-emergency number.
