POLICE say a man was robbed in Belfast city centre by an armed woman wearing a “distinctive cow print onesie”.

The robbery happened in the Great Victoria Street area of the city in the early hours of this morning, Thursday, August 6.

At around 3 am, a 20-year-old man was “robbed by a woman, armed with a suspected firearm, who was in a blue Volkswagen Golf”.

They added: “This woman was wearing a distinctive cow print onesie. There were two men who were also in the car and they made off with a sum of cash.”

Detective Constable Gareth Hussey said: “I would ask anyone with any information about this incident to contact detectives at Musgrave Police Station on the non emergency number 101.

“Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
