THREE MEN HUNTED OVER SOUTH BELFAST OFF-LICENCE ASSAULT

IMG_1980POLICE have released pictures of three men they are hunting over an assault in the Ormeau Road area of south Belfast.

Officers say that at around 7.45 pm on on the evening of Saturday, May 30, a 36 year old man was in an off licence when three males entered and assaulted him.

The man required hospital treatment for his injuries which are not life threatening.

Police have made a number of appeals for help in tracking the suspects.

Now their pictures have not only been circulated throughout the PSNI, they are have also been  issued to the media in the hope someone will recognise them.

Constable Paul Ferris said: “Anyone with any information about these images or the incident is asked to contact the Case Progression Team in Musgrave Police Station on the non emergency number 101.

“Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
