THE PSNI say it has been a busy few weeks for the Reducing Offending Unit at Belfast City District Policing Command.
A 15yr old youth was arrested and charged with Burglary, Grievous Bodily Harm with Intent, Criminal Damage, Attempted Vehicle Theft, Possession of an Offensive Weapon and Going Equipped. He was brought before the next available court and remanded in custody.
A 19yr old man was arrested for Burglary and Grievous Bodily Harm. He was brought before the next available court and remanded in custody.
A 23yr old man recently charged to appear in court for Hi-Jacking has had his Licence revoked and he has been returned to Prison.
A 20yr old man was arrested and charged with Burglary. He is to appear in court next month.
An 18yr old man was arrested and charged with 4 four counts of Theft and Criminal Damage. He was brought before the next available court and remanded in custody.
A 19yr old man was arrested and charged with four counts of Assault on Police, Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm, Handling Stolen Goods, Possession Of Class ‘B’ Drugs, Theft and Resisting. He was brought before the next available court and released on Court Bail.
A 29yr old man was sentenced to three months imprisonment for Theft.
A 15yr old youth was arrested and charged with Burglary, Aggravated Vehicle Taking, Driving whilst Disqualified, No Insurance and Threats to Kill. He was brought before the next available court and remanded in custody.
A 15yr old youth was arrested and charged with 2 x Burglary, Common Assault, Possession of Class ‘B’ Drugs and Possession of Class ‘C’ Drugs. He was brought before the next available court and remanded in custody.
A 16yr old youth was arrested and charged with 3 x Burglaries. He is to appear in court next month.
