DETECTIVES have arrested two people for public order offences following disturbances in the Lanark Way area of Belfast last night, Sunday, July 12.
A 32-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of riotous behaviour and criminal damage.
A 20-year-old man was detained on suspicion of disorderly behaviour, possession of an offensive weapon and obstruction of police.
They remain in police custody.
Belfast City Council staff started a clean-up operation was underway this morning July 13, to remove bricks and bottles fired during the trouble.
