A 46-year-old man has had part of his ear bitten off during a fight outside a bar in Belfast city centre.

Police said it was reported shortly after 8.30 pm on Saturday that a number of people were fighting in the Castle Street area.

During the incident, a 46-year-old man had part of his ear bitten off, and a 57-year-old man and 55-year-old man sustained minor head injuries.

Police have appealed for information to contact them at Musgrave PSNI on the 101 non-emergency number.
