POLICE in Larne are investigating the report of an assault in the early hours of this morning, Sunday morning, 12 July.

It was reported to police that just after 3 am three men got out of a car and assaulted 50 year man on the Curran Road.

The victim was conveyed to hospital for treatment to minor head injuries.

“I would appeal to anyone who witnessed this incident to contact police at Larne on 101. Information can also be passed anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
