DETECTIVES have charged a man over a hijacking in Belfast city centre.
The man is due to face Belfast Magistrates’ Court today.
The 23-year-old was arrested following the incident in Union Street on 1 April.
He is charged with aggravated vehicle taking causing damage to a vehicle and aggravated vehicle taking causing injury.
As is normal procedure all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
