THE end of the school year is upon us and many parents will be looking for ways to keep their children entertained over summer.

With this in mind, Belfast-based Trampoline Park and Adventure Centre We Are Vertigo has launched its biggest summer camp to date offering a unique and fun way for kids to spend their free time.

Running from July 20 – August 14, the summer camps are open to children aged between six and 12 years and offer the opportunity for school children to stay active, learn new skills and make new friends.

During the week-long camps, kids can squeeze as much fun as possible into their day with a wide range of trampoline and adventure activities on offer that will be sure to keep them entertained.  Daily activities include multiple trampoline sessions, ski and snowboard lessons, full use of the adventure centre with sky trail ropes courses, climbing wall and soft play area, all fully supervised by experienced staff.

Joint owner of We Are Vertigo Gareth Murphy first started the camps last year as a way for parents to keep their kids active over holiday periods.

“We run the camps at various holiday periods throughout the year and we’ve seen interest in them go from strength to strength.  Having young kids myself, I know how important it is to keep children stimulated and active over the summer holidays and the camps provide a great way for kids to meet new friends, learn new things and have fun.

Most importantly, it helps to get kids out of the house and to stay active.  The activities on offer at We Are Vertigo enable children of all ages to enjoy a fun form of exercise which will go a long way to improving their health and wellbeing over the summer and the new skills they pick up during the week also provides a confidence booster for many of the children.

All sessions are supervised by qualified staff who will always be on hand to make sure the kids have the best time possible.”

The week-long summer camps will run Monday to Friday from 9.30am – 3.30pm.  All sessions are supervised by fully qualified Camp Leaders and will include a morning snack and lunch each day.  Spaces on the camps are limited and cost £200 per week.  (Discounts are available for families with more than one child attending.)
