THE PSNI’S helicopter last night helped rescue two two boys who got lost on the Black Mountain.

The alarm was raised around 7 pm and the helicopter – call sign ‘India 99’ – was directed to the area.

The boys, aged between eight and 10, were walking on the mountain when they lost their way.

The police helicopter, which was already in the area, assisted a police patrol on the ground using infra-red equipment to the boys location.

The primary school lads were then taken home to their parents.
