DETECTIVES are investigating an aggravated burglary that occurred in the Swanston Road area of Glengormley on Tuesday evening, June 2.

At approximately 7pm, a number of men, one armed with a baseball bat, entered the home of a woman aged in her 20s.

The men made off and are believed to have headed in the direction of Antrim Road.

The woman was not injured in the incident and nothing was taken from the house.

Detective Constable Len Bakker said: “I would ask anyone with any information about this incident to contact detectives at Newtownabbey Police Station on the non emergency number 101.
