DETECTIVES in Newtownabbey are appealing for witnesses after two men were assaulted last night.

The attack took place in the Braiden Glen area.

It was reported to the police that the pair were attacked by a number of men.

One of the victims suffered a broken arm and broken leg, while the other received injuries to the face.
