DETECTIVES from the PSNI’s Major Investigation Team have started a murder inquiry over the death of man in his 20s in west Belfast.

The victim is believed to have suffered stab wounds to his chest and abdomen.

The fatal stabbing happened at Summerhill Park in the Twinbrook area in the early hours of this morning, May 3.

A police spokesman said: “At this time police are treating this as a murder investigation.

“There are no further details at this time.”
