DETECTIVES have renewed their appeal for information ‘dangerous’ and ‘violent’ prisoner Jonathan Turley.
The 33-year-old who failed to return to Magilligan Prison on Saturday, May 9 after being freed on bail.
Detective Inspector Mary White said: “We are renewing our appeal for help in locating Mr Turley who failed to return to Magilligan prison.
“We know that Mr Turley has been in the Belfast and Newcastle areas since he absconded and may also be travelling between Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland.
“I would urge the public not to approach Mr Turley as he has an extensive history of violence and may pose a risk to them.
“I would appeal directly to Mr Turley to hand himself in to the authorities without any further delay.
“I would also ask anyone who knows of his current whereabouts or who has any information to contact police on 999.”
