A total of 8 suspects held at Musgrave PSNI custody suite over the past day from north and west Belfast

THE PSNI say eight people were arrested in less than 24 hours across north and west Belfast in the past day.

They were detained between 8.50 am yesterday morning and 4.50 am this morning for a range of offences including grievous bodily harm and criminal damage.

The oldest arrested was aged 51 and the youngest just 14.

“Of the 8 arrested 4 were male and 4 were female,” said a spokesperson.

All were taken to Musgrave PSNI station for processing and questioning.
