THE PSNI say drugs worth £10,000 were seized during a planned search last night.

The raid took place in the Richmond Court area of Newry in Co Down.

Two women, both aged 23, have been arrested under the 1971 Misuse of Drugs Act.

They are being questioned about possession of class A, B and C controlled drugs with intent to supply.

The suspects are being held at Ardmore police station in Newry.
