DETECTIVES have released unconditionally a 38-year-old man arrested over the murder of Gerard ‘Jock’ Davison in south Belfast.
IRA chief Davidson, 47, was shot dead as he walked to work in the Markets area of the city on Tuesday morning.
Three men, aged 27, 38 and 41, have been arrested over the murder.
All have since been released unconditionally.
Police have ruled out not linked dissident republicans to the attack and do not believe it was sectarian.
