PSNI IN BELFAST CONTINUE CRACKDOWN AND ARRESTS OF CRIMINALS

Laganside Court houseTHE PSNI say its Reducing Crime Unit in Belfast is still taking criminals off the street and putting them before the courts.

An 18 year old man was arrested and charged to the next available court with theft and possession of class C controlled drugs. He was subsequently remanded in custody.

An 18 year old man was arrested and charged to the next available court with burglary, four counts of aggravated Taking and Driving Away, driving whilst disqualified, no insurance, failing to stop/remain/report an RTC. He was subsequently remanded in custody.

A 16 year old youth was arrested and charged to the next available court with GBH with intent, criminal damage and possession of an offensive weapon. He was subsequently remanded in custody.

An 18 year old man was arrested for threats to kill. He was reported to the Public Prosecution Service in relation to this matter.

A 28 year old man was arrested and charged to the next available court with theft. He appeared in court and was sentenced to two months imprisonment suspended for two years.

An 18 year old man was sentenced to eight months imprisonment to be followed by 12 months on licence for robbery.

A 15 year old youth was arrested for two counts of breach of bail and appeared at the next available court. She was subsequently remanded in custody.
