ARSON PROBE OVER ATTACK ON ‘LEGAL HIGH’ SHOP

Fire crew scenePOLICE have launched an investigation over an arson attack on a shop which sells ‘legal highs’.

Residents living in flats above the shop on Dunluce Street, Larne had to be evacuated after the shop was set on fire during the early hours of yesterday morning around 3.45 am.

The PSNI say shutters had been forced open and a fire was started in the shop which caused damage to the property.

The residents have since been allowed to return to their homes.

Detectives are treating the attack as arson with intent to endanger life.
