CROSSBOW THUG ROBS NORTH BELFAST CAFE

musgrave psniDETECTIVES are appealing for information following an armed robbery at commercial premises in the Shore Road area of North Belfast on Monday evening.

Police say that at around 5.50 pm, a man armed with a crossbow robbed a café in the area.

He is described as being aged in his early 20s, approximately 5’8” tall and was wearing a white jacket and black bottoms.

It is thought that he made off towards the Graymount area.

Detective Constable Ian Austin said: “I would ask anyone with any information about this incident to contact Reactive and Organised Crime at Musgrave Police Station on the non emergency number 101.

“Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
