DETECTIVES are appealing for information following an armed robbery at commercial premises in the Shore Road area of North Belfast on Monday evening.

Police say that at around 5.50 pm, a man armed with a crossbow robbed a café in the area.

He is described as being aged in his early 20s, approximately 5’8” tall and was wearing a white jacket and black bottoms.

It is thought that he made off towards the Graymount area.

Detective Constable Ian Austin said: “I would ask anyone with any information about this incident to contact Reactive and Organised Crime at Musgrave Police Station on the non emergency number 101.
