DETECTIVES from the PSNI’s Major Investigation Team have charged a 25-year-old woman in connection with the murder of north Belfast man Kyle Neil.
Mr Neil, 23, died after being stabbed at a barbecue in Comber, County Down, at the weekend.
His body was found in the boot of a car in south Belfast.
The woman has been charged with assisting an offender and is due in court in Ards Magistrates’ Court later on Wednesday.
She is the girlfriend of Wesley Harry Vance.
On Tuesday, Vance appeared in court charged with murdering Mr Neil, who was his friend.
A defence lawyer said Vance, of Mill Street, Comber, had admitted his part in the stabbing during police interviews, but claimed he had acted in self-defence.
