The stolen tractor found crashed into a ditch

POLICE have appealed for information after this tractor was stolen from its owner’s head last weekend.

The theft took place in the early hours of last Saturday morning from a shed on the Syerla Road, Dungannon.

The PSNI say tThe tractor was then rammed through a fence and drive around a field, before coming back out onto the road and crashing into the ditch.

Said a spokesperson: “The tractor is of great sentimental value to the owner.

“Although the tractor has been returned, it’s distressing for them to know that someone did this.

“The tractor has been forensically examined, and we’re keen to hear from anyone who may have been in the area and seen someone acting suspiciously.

“Please call us on 101 if you can help with the investigation, quoting Police Ref. 209 04/04/2015.”
