POLICE arrested a suspected street dealer walking through Belfast City Centre yesterday.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “At around 9.30 am officers arrested a 24 year old male following a search of his ruck sack in the Victoria Street area.

“He has now been charged with possession of a Class B drug and possession of a Class B drug with intent to supply following the search of his rucksack in the Victoria Street area.

“The accused is due to appear in Belfast Magistrates’ Court at the end of the month.”
