POLICE have arrested two females on suspicion of theft of petrol and diesel in the Greater Belfast area.

As part of the investigation, officers also seized their vehicle.

A police spokesperson said: “This is in relation to 19 thefts over the last 4 weeks using plastic drums to carry the fuel away in.

“These occurred in the south Belfast and Newtownabbey areas.”
