POLICE is to face a court in the morning charged with a number of counts of criminal damage incidents in Newtownabbey last night.

The 36-year-old has also been charged with cultivating cannabis and dishonestly using electricity.

He is expected to appear at Belfast Magistrates’ Court.

As is normal procedure all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.

The charges are in connection with a number of incidents in the Graymount Drive area of Greencastle in the early hours of Thursday.
