PROBATION FOR MAN CAUGHT DEALING IN CLASS A DRUGS

Laganside Court houseA 22 year old male received a three year probation sentence for drug dealing offences.

He pleaded guilty at a Belfast court to the supply a Class A drug, supplying a Class A Drug and Possession of a Class B Controlled Drug.

Detective Inspector Pete Mullan says: “This individual appeared before the court as the result of a proactive Policing operation carried out by Belfast City Policing District’s Tactical Crime Unit, against the supply of Class A Drugs in the City.

“Police in Belfast are committed to tackling the issue of drug supply and distribution within the city. We understand the harm drug taking can cause both communities and individuals and will continue to work with local communities and residents to help keep people safe.”
