A SEARCH has ended this lunch time for a missing person in west Belfast.

The North West Mountain Rescue Team had been scrambled into action to help locate the person said to be missing on Divis Mountain overlooking Belfast.

However, shortly after 1 pm, the missing person was located by the PSNI who also assisted in the search, said NWMRT.
