Police Ombudsman investigate after Taser baton rounds fired by PSNI in Antrim

THE Police Ombudsman’s Office has appealed for information about an incident during which police discharged Taser and AEP baton rounds in Antrim town at the weekend.

It happened at around 1.30am in the early hours of Saturday morning close to the junction of Stiles Way and Fountain Hill.

The PSNI officers discharged the Taser and the baton rounds in an effort to arrest a man.
