POLICE are questioning three males over a spate of incidents across north, south and west Belfast yesterday.

According to the PSNI, Belfast District command deployed the police helicopter and other resources to catch the thiefs.

“Response officers from North Belfast, the Police Helicopter and our Belfast OST/Crime team officers were deployed, and after the stolen vehicle was involved in a theft on the Boucher Road, it was the followed into the West Belfast area.

“The vehicle then collided with a police vehicle before 3 males were arrested by OST/Crime Team for various offences like burglary, aggravated vehicle taking, theft and motoring offences. The males involved are in custody at present and will be interviewed.
