POLICE are hunting thieves who stole a car during a burglary which was later involved in a hit-and-run accident.

The PSNI say that at around 7.04 am yesterday, officers received a report of a burglary at an address in the Ava Park area of South Belfast.

A spokesperson said: “A red Audi was taken which was then used in a hit and run road traffic collision incident later in the day in the St Judes Crescent area of South Belfast.
