A woman in her 70s has died in a house fire in Co Donegal this morning

Gardaí are investigating the blaze which broke out at the house at Creeslough shortly after 1am.

The woman, who lived alone, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Her body was removed to Letterkenny General Hospital where a post mortem examination will take place.
