CHEERS… Manager of Berts Jazz Bar Lucy McConville and Gavin Carroll from The Merchant Hotel receive delivery of this year’s new vintage Beaujolais Nouveau 2014. Berts will be one the of first bars in the world where guests can follow in the famous French tradition and uncork the new wine as the clock strikes midnight on Thursday November 20. According to French law, Beaujolais Nouveau cannot be sold earlier than the third Thursday of November and the day is marked in France and around the world with much fanfare including fireworks and music festivals.
