Detectives from PSNI Serious Crime Branch investigating violent dissident republican activity have detained a number of men at a house in the Ardcarn Park area of Newry this evening.

Detective Superintendent Kevin Geddes said,” Officers remain at the scene processing the suspects who will be taken for questioning in due course.”
