Detectives in Coleraine are appealing for information following an armed robbery at a jewellers in the Victoria Street area of Ballymoney on the afternoon of Monday 10th November.

Detective Sergeant Colin Neill said,” It was reported to police that shortly before 5pm, three masked men entered the shop and threatened members of staff. One of the men is believed to have been armed with a suspected firearm.

“The members of staff were forced to the ground and a quantity of jewellery was taken.

“Our enquiries into this incident are continuing and I would appeal to anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area to contact police in Coleraine on 101. Information can also be passed anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
