MAN HELD IN NORTH BELFAST MURDER BID PROBE

PSNIDETECTIVES have arrested a 25-year-old man in Belfast on suspicion of attempted murder.

He is being questioned about an assault at Limestone Road in north Belfast on Friday night.

A 25-year-old man was taken to hospital following the attack in which a number of people are believed to have been involved.

A 22-year-old man arrested on Monday has been released on bail pending further inquiries

A woman and man arrested at the weekend have also been released on police bail.

Police said they did not believe the attack was sectarian.
