POLICE arrested a teenage boy following a number of reports of suspicious behaviour in the Springfield Park and New Barnsley Park areas of west Belfast.

The alarm was raised on Halloween night, Friday, October 31.

Police subsequently arrested a 14 year old male on suspicion of burglary of a dwelling, burglary with intent to steal and going equipped for theft.

Speaking of the incident, Inspector Mike White, Woodbourne, said: “The youth has been interviewed by Police and released on bail, pending further enquiries.”
