THE PSNI say it has been another busy week its Reducing Offending Unit in Belfast:
A 19yr old man was arrested and charged in respect of eight burglaries. He was remanded in custody.
A 17yr old youth was arrested and charged with 9 Fraud Offences involving counterfeit currency, he is to appear at court later in November.
A 25yr old man was arrested and charged with theft and Possession of a Class B Drug. He was brought before the next available court where he was subsequently released on court bail.
An 18yr old man was arrested and charged with Criminal Damage, he was further arrested for Breach of Court Bail. He was brought before the next available court and remanded in custody.
A 19yr old man was was convicted of Aggravated TADA, Receiving Stolen goods, Dangerous Driving and other motoring offences. He was sentenced to 15 months imprisonment followed by a further 15 months on supervised licence.
An 18yr old man was convicted of Burglary, Theft, Going Equipped for Theft and Breach of his Probation Order. He was sentenced to 8 months imprisonment.
