THE forward momentum of Northern Ireland’s leading independent tour operator Travel Solutions continued to soar at the weekend when the Belfast-based company walked away with one award and was shortlisted for no fewer than four others.
High flying Travel Solutions beat off stiff competition to scoop the award for ‘Best Short Break Tours Operator’at the 23rd annual NI Travel and Tourism Awards which took place on Friday night at the Slieve Donard Resort and Spa in Newcastle.
The ‘Oscars’ of the local travel and tourism industry awards also saw Travel Solutions receive nominations for Best Ski Operator, Best Sales Support Team to the NI Travel Trade, Best Travel Internet Booking System and Best Travel Trade Representative in the form of popular local character Robert Wilson.
The expanding company has gone from strength to strength in recent years developing a dedicated air division in 2013 and a Balkan Ski department in 2014 and is now the only tour operator in Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland to offer winter ski holidays to Bulgaria.
Travel Solutions managing director Peter McMinn was thrilled to see the company receive the title of Best Short Break Tours Operator and with the rest of its nominations.
