COPS NAB MORE CROOKS IN CRACKDOWN ON BELFAST CRIME

musgrave psniPOLICE say its Reducing Offending Unit has had a busy week catching crooks, thieves, drug dealers and shoplifters.

A 20yr old man was arrested and charged with burglary and attempted burglary, he was brought before the next available court and remanded in custody.

A 34yr old man was arrested for breach of bail and possession of a class B drug. He was charged with the drugs offence, brought before the next available court and subsequently released on court bail.

A 17yr old youth was arrested and charged with grievous bodily harm with intent. He is to appear at Belfast Youth Court later this month.

A 16yr old youth was arrested and charged with burglary, theft from a motor vehicle, vehicle interference and going equipped for theft. He was brought before the next available court and remanded in custody.

An 18yr old man was arrested and charged with aggravated TADA, no insurance, no driving licence and breach of bail. He was brought before the next available court and remanded in custody.

A 17yr old youth was arrested and charged with 2 x assault on police, resisting arrest and breach of bail. He was brought before the next available court and remanded in custody.

A 20yr old man was arrested and charged with 2 x theft (shoplifting in excess of £1,500.00) and going equipped for theft. He was brought before the next available court and remanded in custody.
